I had to laugh recently when I heard a Raleigh newscaster talking about the terrible rush hour traffic jams -- coming from the Washington DC area, I can tell you, North Carolina has NO traffic jams. Maybe a little congealing here and there, but it moves PDQ. A traffic jam is when you are assigned a zipcode, as happens frequently in DC. And the only view is the bumper sticker on the car in front of you! So relax, explore, and enjoy! North Carolina is one wonderful State!
